Founded in 1980 and incorporated in 1983 Florida Industrial Electric is a progressive electrical contracting firm offering a full-range of specialized electrical construction and maintenance services. You’ll have a dedicated team of project managers, superintendents and foremen who are backed by both full-service, client-focused field crews and an administrative office staff that values relationships and teamwork.
We are seeking all levels of qualified technicians. The position involves installing signals, highway lighting and communication infrastructure. Applicants must have a valid FL. driver’s license, be able to work flexible hours and be in good physical condition. Some travel is expected in FL only.
Duties Include but are limited to:
General electrical knowledge, repair replace or modify components, controllers, relays and switches. Inspect, remove and repair signal control and auxiliary equipment such as traffic signal controllers and cabinets, vehicle and pedestrian head assemblies, lights and circuitry.
Perform duties while elevated above traffic in basket of a boom truck.
Minimum one year experience with Level 1 Tech license for a non-entry applicant.
Equipment operators, bucket truck, boom truck, back hoe, mini excavator, trencher, pipe layers.
